you arent afraid of a little spider or 300 are you

You aren’t afraid of a little spider, or 300, are you?

I am starting to get all the pumpkins and Halloween stuff sorted. Basically I pull out all the fall stuff and start with a lot of pumpkins in September, Halloween in October and then supplement with more leaves and other things for November. Every year I am more and more excited about decorating for Halloween!

I came up with the idea for this wreath randomly one day when trying to think of one I haven’t seen before and I was so glad it came out well!

I didn’t have a standard wreath form but I didn’t want to spend much on this wreath either so I searched the garage and found a black pine wreath. A black wreath is already rather Halloween-ish in itself but it wasn’t the look I was going for so I wrapped it with tulle to hold it down and then with batting to thicken it up a bit.

The batting ended up working well because of the white background it gave it. I picked up 6 bags of 50 spider rings from the dollar store. Would have liked all black but I settled because I didn’t want to buy 12.

I cut off the ring part of the spider and then I started hot gluing them on, I would do a bunch of orange and then I would do a bunch of black on top.

Super simple and it came out cute for a $6 wreath, I only bought the spiders, I had everything else on hand!

I can’t wait to show you the pumpkins I made for the porch, they are drying in the garage as I type!!
What is you favorite type of Halloween decoration?

Love this! What a fun way to use those plastic spiders. I would love for you to share this at my fall-themed link-up. (And your pumpkins, too, when you post!)
