Yogurt Dots {Pinspired}

We have all seen these on Pinterest (I have the pin I am talking about at the end of the post) and in an effort to do more of the things that I actually pin, I thought I would give these a try, here is how my yogurt dots came out:

 I did three types/flavors to see if it mattered and I thought I would share my tips from personal experience, either way, they were all a hit, especially with Avery!

I tried greek yogurt, light yogurt and lactose free yogurt, really because I had all three in the fridge so I thought I would get my science on and do an experiment.

I found that any of them with fruit in them caused problems when using the plastic bag because the fruit exploded out and turned a cute dollop into a mess. Whatever, they still tasted good.

Here is the picture I could have used and acted like that didn’t happen.

Here is the truth lol.

So they all work out the same, I would just choose one that didn’t have actual pieces of fruit.

Second, I put one tray in my regular freezer and one on my chest freezer in the garage, they froze faster in the regular freezer, I think it was because it was closer to the cold air.

Greek Yogurt:

Regular Yogurt:

Lactose Free Yogurt:

 All of them were a hit- Pinterest success!!
