tape and roller painting

Tape and Roller Painting

I have been doing a lot of art this week with the children at the preschool and that means Avery is getting to do extra projects as well!
This one came out really great, all you need is painters tape, a roller, construction paper and paint and you can make these:

Click “Read More” to find out how we did it!!

First you put painters tape on a piece of construction paper in any manner.
Then you let your child start painting as they please.
After a while, you move the tape into a new position and then give them another color that coordinates with the first and they continue to paint. You can do this as many times as you would like, if you are going to do many colors that would look good layered but not mixed, I would let them dry a bit in between each coat.
Don’t they come out pretty!?!? I am going to put them in black mats for the art show- so exciting!!!

Hope everyone has a great Mother’s Day!!!

This is so great! It looks so fun and it turns out so cute. I would love to do this with my little girls name. (I think I will!)
