Spider Web Canvases
I think I am having more fun this year than ever coming up with Halloween crafts and I am pulling out all the boxes this week!!
I am still moving everything around so I doubt that this is the way it will all end up but the canvases are my latest project…
Actually, when I look at his picture, the countdown blocks were done for $2 and the ghosts were done for $2 and the canvas spiderwebs were done for $4, I guess you could say I like a frugal craft.
But here is how I made the spiderweb canvases:
I started with a 3 pack of flat canvases from Big Lots. These are awesome, Big Lots is down the street and it is almost dangerous because they have such great canvas prices!
Then I painted them back, probably with the smallest brush ever from Avery’s art supply box, just saying.
Once they were dry, I grabbed the washi tape and yarn and tapped one end to the back of the canvas.
I wrapped the yarn around the vanvas a number of times and then tapped the end when I was done.
Here is a front view.
Then I grabbed my spider rings that I had left over and cut the ring portion off and glued a few onto my yarn webs.
