Slinky Pumpkin Tutorial
Here is another crazy pumpkin tutorial, when I tell you I was just walking around the house finding stuff to spray paint orange, I wasn’t kidding, and Avery’s toys were not off limits!!I found her slinky and made it into this little cutie:
I love it, this thing is adorable! And to think that it started out like this:
It was super simple, I just hot glued the ends together… you could use wire or something else but the hot glue worked for me.
Then spray paint it, of course.
Then Avery and Wade were kind enough to go look in the backyard for a stick and I tied a crepe paper vine onto it. I just cut a piece of crepe paper and twirled it until it was vine like.
Have you ever stolen your child’s toys for a craft project:

What a cute pumpkin you created. I totally see that sitting on a teacher’s desk instead of an apple. Cute!
Oh my gosh that’s such a great idea! And an awesome use for a slinky
I’m eyeballing that money gift topiary in your sidebar too, all my grandpa ever wants is money so that would be a clever way to give him some for his birthday! Anyway, I’m getting distracted
