Silver Dipped Margarita Glasses
It is summer and in San Diego that means hot afternoons and cold drinks, especially margaritas! I picked up these adorable margarita glasses (they remind me more of the ones that virgin drinks get served in at restaurants but it was what they had and I thought they were cute anyways) at the dollar tree and had painted them in under a couple of minutes. This is the perfect easy and beginning activity for any crafter!
I started out with taping the glasses at an angle and added tape to cover the whole top and opening of the glass so spray paint doesn’t get inside.
I took them outside and gave them a couple of coats of silver metalic spray paint and that was about it!
All that was left to do then was blend up a margarita! How convenient that I was sent two bottles of Sandra Lee’s Cocktail Time Margarita mix?!
I went traditional with the first round in the blender to get the authentic flavor and let me tell you- it was good! Plus so easy, the whole mix was in the bottle so two ingredients later i was sipping my margarita out on the back patio. Fabulous!
