Rose Petal Pillow
They are fun and festive.
I have a short attention span.
Nice things don’t last very long in my house with animals and a toddler.
This makes quick and easy seasonal pillows perfect for my home because I can have fun making them, but use inexpensive materials and quick methods so I don’t stress out when Avery plays tug of war with the dog with one of them.
Like this pillow- I made using hot glue.
Cute right? Maybe some day when I have more time and older children I will sit down and tack on with a needle and thread each rose petal so I have a pillow I can keep for a while. But for now, I want the process to be shorter than the life span, does that make sense? ?
This is just a plain pillow I had left over from the last time I made pillows.
And a bag of silk (probably not real silk) rose petals.
Then I just started at the bottom and hot glued them on one by one.
All the way up!
Done! I knew I would be so happy with the outcome when I was half way through, I always enjoy when that happens!

Oh…I like easy!!! I might have to give this a try…I pinned it to my DIY board so I can come back to it later.
Thanks!

This pillow is ADORABLE! The best part is that I have some white rose petals left over from my nieces wedding that I had no idea what I was going to do with. This is definitely going on my project list. Thanks for sharing!
Really cute idea! Sometimes simple projects are the best.
What a fab idea! I need to make some pretty covers for my daughter’s window seat. This would be perfect.
Now, that is BOLD!!!
What a cute idea! I love this!
