Rock and Roll Birthday Party

I will have to give a tutorial on how to put up backdrops from plastic table cloth without ruining walls and getting that pleated curtain look. Would you all be interested in that?
There was also a little table and chair for the artist and supplies.
Here is a shot of the food table and then the cupcake table. More pleated curtain backdrops (all that tape was covered for the party).
A front shot of the food table. All the banners are handmade with the Cricut and hung on ribbon with tulle knots between. You have to have one of these machines if you don’t, I get so many compliments on any and everything that I make with that because it looks so polished and professional. I also layered the plastic table cloths and then gathered the top one and pinned it with a safety pin to give it an extra layer of interest.
Here is an up close shot of the table cloths.
Here is my cupcake wars inspired cupcake table. I made little speakers out of cardboard and pedestals out of records and candle sticks. There was a band doing sound check/practice while I was setting up and they got such a kick out of my speakers. Who knew cardboard and spray paint was so awesome!
I am REALLY happy with the way the cupcake table came out and I couldn’t narrow down the pictures so I chose to make a collage.
We also cut out guitar shapes from poster board and then used duct tape to make straps so the kids could color their own guitar, it was adorable. I may make a separate post for that!
Thanks for stopping by!!! I appreciate it!!
Come see me at these great parties!!
