Red, White & Blue Patriotic Pancakes
We have been having a lot of fun at summer camp!!
With 4th of July coming up, I wanted to make a fun snack for all the kids in the camp, and that is when my eye caught the pancake mix!
This was super easy to put together and make, and keep in mind, I am talking about a snack for 30+ kids! You could easily do this in your home for your family!
I just used the basic mix that we have at the school and made 3 batches (for just a family, you could just split your normal amount into three bowls) and left one plain and colored the other two red and blue. Next, I just made them as normal, but since I was giving each child 3, I made them a medallion size and cooked them on the plug in griddle. These things are awesome, I wish I had one at home!
When it came to putting them on the plate, I stacked them in red, white and blue order and served them with a bit of syrup. The kid’s loved it and it was such a fun addition to our week of celebration for the 4th of July!
