Quick & Easy Room Parent Notebook
One of the biggest thing we tackle at the preschool (besides the fundraiser that I have starting next week) is finding room parents for all the classes. Many amazing moms volunteer and many more step up when I need a few more. We had our first parent committee meeting last night and this was the time I gave them all the forms they needed to make their lives easier, but I like to give a little fun something to them as well. This year I have 1,000 and 1/2 things going on so I hadn’t planned ahead, but I still pulled it off, and on a Tuesday no less! (Tuesdays are about as busy as it gets!) And I think they are pretty cute!
It all started with some sweet kraft notebooks I found at the dollar store- I heart the dollar store.
Then I remembered these free printable watercolor journal covers that were shared on the Eighteen25 blog which I also used on my office gallery wall in this post. They pretty much had me at watercolor and I love the ‘you got this’ cover for the room parents so I printed it out four per page to fit the notebook onto a full sheet label.
I trimmed them down a quarter inch around the image all around, I didn’t measure because I didn’t have time!
Then I simply put the homemade stickers onto the front of each one of the notebooks, DONE!
It was seriously like 5 minutes, I was so glad to get it done and have something to add to their information folders!
