Quick and Easy Teacher Appreciation Idea

I am so excited to be doing my first year of teacher appreciation!!

That mixed with Mother’s day coming up and wanting to get my friends some affordable gifts, I came together with this little craft:

candy bar button

So cute and simple and everyone loves chocolate, right?!

I had everything but the chocolate bar on hand and this cute little bar came this way from Joanns.

To make it, I grabbed a frame from my stash and took it apart, my chocolate bar was too thick to be put between the glass and backing so I ditched the glass.

I grabbed some pink cardstock and use my new Tombow stamp adhesive to attach it to the frame backing.

I popped it back in the frame and it was ready for embellishment!

For the back of the chocolate bar, I used some heavy duty glue dots because it was pretty heavy.

I then put it in the bottom portion of the frame.

Last, I broke out the Cricut and my Paper Lace cartridge for the writing. I got my vinyl from Pick Your Plum.

I cut the phrase “In case of emergency” and then used the transfer tape to take it off the mat (I don’t know why the mat always looks dirtier than it actually is, on camera, this is a brand new mat!).

I ended up having to cut the rows apart but it was still super easy.

Done! Ready for all your friends, families and teachers!!
