Pumpkin Patch 2012
Of course I took a ton of pictures but I saw this pumpkin made out of that rippled metal roof stuff (I think that is the correct technical term) and thought they were so cute! They would be totally easy to DIY, you know, if you had the metal stuff and a thing to cut it.
Back to the actual day.
Avery went strait to a “yellow pumpkin”, first thing. You can’t be surprised at this point.
We made her put it down so we could play- don’t worry, it makes another appearance.
They had wooden cows set up with these water bottles so you could “milk” them- yeah that pink box is the utters, I don’t know why I didn’t grab a whole cow shot.
Photo op, just because.
Chillin’ with some baby goats.
This is this cotton seed hill that the kids can slide down. This is San Diego people, this is the closest kids get to sledding around here. In reality, I got the picture and then she wanted to sit on Wade’s lap to go down the hill.
We did the hay bale maze which was obviously designed for short people but we had to follow her through and try to duck under everything. I came out looking like a scarecrow but she had a good time getting “stuck”.
There was a giant, um,
And there was another one that she sat on the front of, just for the picture of course.
There were games, games that had yellow balls that she walked around hoarding until we made her throw them like the game was designed.
Then came the time to pick the free pumpkin that she got with her admission. Seriously, how is a kid supposed to pick with all these options! We were there for like 10 minutes.
In the end, it took forever for her to pick one and then she essentially tossed it aside when she caught a glimpse of the “yellow pumpkin”, it was only $2 so of course we got it for her.
But you better believe I went back to get the free pumpkin too- this coupon mama doesn’t pass up a freebie!!!
Have you done the pumpkin patch this season yet?
