Pennant or Garland?

I used some fabric scraps to make a fall pennant (or garland?) for my mantle and I love the way it came out! Here is how I did it…
What you need:
- Fabric scraps in fall colors
- Hot glue gun
- Ribbon
- Faux flowers
- Hanging materials
- Scissors
First you cut your fabric scraps into strips, it doesn’t really matter the length right now.
Lay them out and decided on your pattern
Glue the ribbon in between the fabric that is folded in half over it.
Trim down the pieces the way you would like with the scissors.
Hot glue the back of the flowers to various strips of the fabric and over the ends (I used the command adhesive strips and then glued the flowers on top to cover it up).
I think this was a great addition to the mantle and feel like it is 90% completed!
