Outdoor Fall Pennant
I want to decorate all over for fall this year- including the outside of the house as well. Plus I think decorating will motivate me to do the yard work that needs to be done out there- not my favorite thing on the planet.
But back to the craft.
In San Diego we don’t get a lot of rain until January so I wanted to make a pennant to hang up outside, but still wanted to make it semi-durable.
That is wear one of my new favorite machines- my laminator- comes in.
First I cut some scrapbook paper, the were 6 inches tall and 5 inches wide and the widest part.
Then I put them in the lamination pockets.
And, put a line of hot glue across the top and attached the ribbon. It was rough to get pictures- I did this late at night. Which is also why I didn’t put it out- a little to dark at 10 pm.

Love it. I don’t have a laminator but I could definitely do this project with some clear contact paper. I’ve been wanting to find a project to use this stuff on anyway. I hope you’ll share a picture once you have this beauty hanging up.
This is so cute! I love that you laminated it too. You are awesome! Thanks for your kind words about my teacup clock!
love your guts

I don’t have a laminating machine… could I use fabric for this? This is such a cute idea for a kid’s room year round.
What a great idea! I really like that this can go up outside.
Awesome! I’m picturing a Halloween one hanging from our tree out front. Now, I just need to invest in a laminator. Hmm.
