Summer in San Diego is warm, which of course is to be expected, but that makes a light and fresh snack not only only refreshing, but neccessary. Pairing that with my recent transition to a much healthier lifestyle makes me extra focused on what I am putting in my body and I have the perfect summer snack idea to share with you today! A homemade lemonade paired with a Ready Pac Ready Snax that I picked up in a 3 pack on my latest trip to Costco- as easy as it is delicious!

Let’s start with the lemonade, while at Costco I picked up a big bag of lemons along with my Ready Pac Read Snax.

I rolled them on my counter to loosen up all the juice before I cut them.

Then I juiced them all into a bowl over a strainer. I also had a fork to help me make sure I got every last bit of juice.

I have found that my recipe is more of a formula and I use twice as much water as fresh squeezed lemon juice.

I filled my carafe with ice.

Added a cup of lemon juice.

Then two cups of water.

And about a 1/4-1/3 cup of agave nectar, do this to taste.

That is it! I love mason jars because I could always throw the lid on and pack a quick and easy picnic snack with little prep. The Ready Pac Ready Snax come in a 3 pack at Costco so we would be ready to go in  no time!

You have to admit, this would hit the spot on hot summer day!

Make sure you keep up with Ready Pac in all these easy ways!
