Last Minute Personalized Tote

Valentine’s Day is this Saturday and if you are in need of a last minute gift from your child to anyone in the family- this is a perfect idea! It is quick, easy and affordable! Other then the bag that was around $4 before coupon at Joann’s, I used scraps for everything- awesome!

I started with a plain white tote bag and some scrap heat transfer vinyl I scored from Expressions Vinyl. I used my Cricut Explore to cut out “I” and “You!” and made sure to mirror my image.

Then I placed the words, leaving a large space for the heart in the middle.

I ironed on each of the words in no time and was ready for the heart!

For the heart, I simply hand cut one out of contact paper and stuck it on. I traced around it on the inside just as a more defined visual for Avery as she was coloring.

Then I let her go at it! I love when she colors and I knew whatever the final product would be would turn out great. She used my BIC Mark-It Permanent Markers and they, once again, performed beautifully.

The final product is perfect!
