Kid Made Gift Idea & Giveaway!!

Avery is at the age where she likes to make and give her own gifts and I think that is great! Who in the family doesn’t want a handmade creation in addition to any gifts that I had already planned? Exactly. I think this is such and awesome touch and truthfully, anything that she makes will probably be the favorite in the end anyways. First up in our handmade gift bonanza, bracelets for the Grandmas, I think they are going to love them!

The best part of this is that Avery had a blast making all of it, she didn’t just string the beads on a bracelet- she MADE the beads which makes this even more special! Check out this awesome little Beadola Kit from Crayola!

We followed the directions to make the balls, turn them into beads and then add patterns! Then all that is left is to seal and add embellishments if desired and you are done!

Avery had so much fun and she even had a friend over that got to make the beads too! This kit with the various steps was perfect for a couple kids working together. After a few times, they could also pretty much do it all themselves and they are only four- older children wouldn’t need any help after initial instruction!.

Want to have even more fun??

I have a Beadola set and $50 Visa gift card to give to one of you fabulous people! You have two choices, you can do it with your child and give the bracelets as gifts OR you can just rap it and throw it under the tree or use it for one of the nights of Hanukkah! All you have to do is leave a comment telling me who you will give it to and why! Isn’t that great?

I would give it to my daughter, Lizzie (5 years old), because she is my mini me who loves crafting almost as much as her momma! She is also a girlie girl who loves her jewelry. This bead making kit would be so much fun for her and would help her work on her fine motor skills. Win-win!
