I interupt this blog for an exciting announcement!!
This little girl is going to have 2, count them 1-2, parents with college degrees!!!
I have been soooooooo happy all day because I finally got word that I passed a test that allowed me to test out of my last class for my BA in Early Childhood Education!!
You know what that means?!
I AM DONE DONE DONE with school!!!!!
(for now, still going to go on and get a masters degree but I am going to enjoy being done and out of school for a bit)
I was somewhat worried when I took the test because it was an English and writing exam, and those two things were never my strength. I have always written “A” papers for Early Childhood Education but that is a topic I am comfortable with, English classes never went well for me.
From elementary school right on up through college, I would get high grades in everything, especially Math (you know how there are math people and language people? Well I am a math person all day, everyday while Wade is the opposite.) but never really could get an “A” in English. I really could have benefited from a writing program either when I was younger or throughout my lengthy college experience. I am sure if I got a little extra help through a writing program I wouldn’t have had so many issues with English and writing in school! This is definitely something I would consider for Avery (and hopefully her future siblings) when she is older.
Did you ever have a subject that you just couldn’t get?
