First up in my Homemade Holiday Gift collection is this fun hometown canvas gift! This is a sweet idea for anyone that is not living in the town they grew up in, which is most people these days! This gift idea is quick and easy and you can grab everything you need over at Consumer Crafts!

Here is what you need:

• 8×10 Artist Canvas (you can use any size)
• Acrylic Paint and brush
• Scrapbook Paper
• Xyron
• Cricut (which you can win at the end of this post!)

Alright, let’s get started! First things first, I painted my canvas with the acrylic paint- I chose a teal because that is what I always choose these days.

Next I cut out the state I needed from a patterned cardstock  using my Cricut , California in my case, and then a little heart in red.

I ran them through my Xyron to make things go much quicker and easier- love this thing!

Then all I had to do it stick it on the canvas and done! This would be such a quick and easy project that you could make dozens in no time at all- perfect for friends, families, coworkers and more!
