Holiday Mantel 2014
I can’t believe that I finished my holiday mantel for this year on December 1st! What a miracle!! I love how it came out and that probably has to do with all the GOLD. I don’t know why, but I have been really into gold lately- I love all this gold and white together!!
It all started when I grabbed some gold spray paint for my Thanksgiving day table. I had some left over so when I was at Joanns and grabbed a great black, gold and white stack of DCWV paper. That reminded me of the gold spraypaint right as I was going down the aisle with the letters and let’s just say that I chose joy. (lol, you see what I did there?!)
Behind the gold JOY letters, I added some cone trees that I simply made with scissors and tape and some of the great paper from that stack.
Two mason jars full of the gold glitter branches that I took off that same Thanksgiving table from last week and a wreath I made for a craft fair on the wall and I was almost done! I also added a layer of star of David garland on top of the fabric banner that was already there and I think it is all finished!
What does your mantel look like?
