Girl Scout Bridging Party
We recently had our Girl Scout Bridging party for our 1st graders who are bridging to Brownies! It was about a third of our troop and it was so much fun! For the rest of the girls it was a petal party to celebrate finishing our petals. It was such an amazing first year of Girl Scouts and I am so excited to start planning for next year! Here is a simple tablescape idea that would be perfect for any bridging party, just switch up the colors!
It was super simple and affordable to put together because we used blue plastic table cloths and jars I had around the house. I gave 11 jars a coat of paint corresponding to one of the petals and the promise center of the daisy flower. We also put them in order on the table but the view of the pictures shows it in backwards order.
We filled each of the vases with white daisies and I love how it all came out! Each place setting had a doily as a charger, a cute red basket with checkered paper, a white napkin and blue utensils. I finished it off with Chinet clear plastic cups and cute blue paper straws, I love paper straws!
Also, I thought I would share our gift for our Bridging brownies, it was a simple little gift with a bottle of daisy shaped bubbles to remind them of where they have been, a box of brownie mix to remind them of where they are and a box of Junior Mints to remind them of where they are going. So cute!
