Fall Leaf Nail & String Art {Bakers Twine Week!}
To make my fall leaf string art, I started with a square board. I had sanded the edges for splinters.
Then I gave it a couple of coats of gold paint.
I found a leaf shape online and printed it out to use as my templates.
I cut it out and traced it on the board.
I grabbed some tiny nails and then nailed along the line all the way around. About a quart of an inch or so apart.
Once all the nails are in place, I grabbed a few fall colored bundles of twine.
I tied it to a nail and the wrapped it around a few times.
I kept changing colors until it was full of twine and I had wrapped a piece around the whole edge to give it definition.
I am happy with the way it came out!
