Fall Floral Wreath
I have made a lot of wreaths in my time… like a lot. And of course there are some that I like more than others and y’all, this one is on the favorites list! I enjoyed the flowers from my Yom Kippur tablescape (on the blog this Sunday) so much, that I incorporated them into a wreath for my door! I love these non-traditional fall colors and the direction my tiny little porch is going, it isn’t done, but it is going in the right direction.
Here is what you need:
- Foam Wreath Form
- Burlap ribbon
- Floral picks
- Faux flowers, leaves and bobbles
I started by wrapping the burlap ribbon around the wreath, it is exactly as easy as it sounds. The floral picks were key and made this process very quick, I put one in where I started and one in at the end.
When you turn it over, if you find that there is any weird puckering, you can add a couple more.
Once it was wrapped, I started gathering the flowers, leaves and additional flair. I also added these with the floral picks and I like to start with the biggest items first and built the general frame.
I went with the asymmetrical gather on the bottom right so that is what I focused on but you could do whatever you would prefer.
Then I filled in with the leaves and the blue flowers, balls and gold springs were added in last.
