Easy Patriotic Headband {Under 5 Minutes & $5}
I love an idea that I think of on the spot and with materials that are super cheap!
I literally came up with this one while in line at the craft store. You know how they set that up- right?! With all the dollar bins for kids stuff and seasonal stuff? Will it totally worked on me!
I saw a silver headband (I have actually gotten these many times, Avery likes them because they don’t hurt her head) that was a dollar and then a pack of 6 felt stars that was also a dollar.
That is it- $2! If you grab another headband you can make two of these for $3 because I only used 3 of the six stars.
I am sure you can guess how me and my hot glue gun came together to make this one happen. I just glued the red start on first and then overlapped and glued the white and then the blue.
5 min and under $5…. that would be a pretty cool blog series…. I will have to come back to you all with that one!
But until then, how about life as a blogger’s kid?? I asked her if she would take a picture with the headband (yeah it doesn’t match her dress but I didn’t want to push my luck) and she is all for it, then gives me this face.
Nice.

I’m so glad your daughter models for you. Mine does not like to model for me and has often thrown a fit on the floor when asked(granted she’s just turning 3) but I having my husband model a baby hat, just doesn’t have the same effect! lol
Very cute and oh so easy. Thanks for the idea. need to use up all that felt I have stockpiled.
Oh, how cute is this. Thanks for great inspiration.
A lovely weekend to you and those around you!
I love this…plus it is cheap to make! Thanks for sharing!
