DIY Halloween Treat Boxes
Alright everyone, I have some exciting news!! Delicate Construction is getting contributors! I could not be more excited to enhance my blog with awesome ladies who I love and think are so gifted in what they are going to be specializing in her on my little corner of the internet. First up, my fabulous and crafty friend Eden who has opened my eyes to more things than I can count, but most of all, she is my Cricut partner in crime. I love my machine and use it all the time but what this woman can do with paper is amazing!! Today she is here today to share her awesome Halloween treat boxes she has been working hard on and an amazing blog sharing great print and cut ideas for the new Cricut Explore! Take it away Eden!
I used my Cricut Explore for all of them, including the new Print Then Cut feature for the Vampire (Honoré Oleander Treat Box). All of the products I used to make the boxes were out of my stash. I have been trying hard to use what I have!
I love how the Design Studio separates the layers out onto multiple mats- so convenient!
After everything was cut, I was able to embellish and put the project together.
I try to give all of my projects some dimension with pop dots. In addition, I decided to embellish with chalk ink, my white gel pen and stickles. I also glued the bottom shut for some extra sturdiness.
I love that all of these little boxes went together quickly and easily. The score lines were built into the project, which was great. I will definitely be making more before Halloween!
Wasn’t that amazing?! I just love that lady and her crafts! She is so talented! I can’t wait to see what she shares next month! Thank you Eden!
