Cheap Scrap Paper Storage {$1}

It is Tuesday, so I have another tip for you!!

This is a good one that I got from a friend at a craft class. I really enjoy these classes not only because I am able to help people make crafts in an affordable way, but because I get to have some great girl time for chit chat and idea swapping!!

We were making magnet boards with scrapbook paper and one of the ladies asked me if I saved my scraps. I said no because I don’t have a way to store them without feeling like a hoarder.

That is when genius struck.

My friend Jenn responded with “I keep mine in a coupon organizer sorted by color”.

Oy. Vey.

I can’t believe I didn’t come up with that!!

Then I found myself at Target and in their one dollar spot was a giant paper organizer! It was meant to be, I just know it.

$1 organization?? Please, I was on that like glitter on Mod Podge.

I grabbed up all my scrap papers.

And sorted them, mine had 5 sections so I sorted in warm colors, cool colors, neutrals, lights, and darks.  If my scrap stash grows, I can always grab another one and then sort by the rainbow but this works great for now.

I put them in, and that was it! Come on, you know you love cheap, fast and easy when it comes to organization!!

Hope this helped you!!!

    What a genius idea! I’ve been keeping mine in a 1lb freezer bag, lol. I’ll have to keep my eye out for one of these! Thanks for the tip!

    See ya around!

    Oh that is such a fab idea… I do wish we had Target over here in Blighty as one of those holders is going to be a tad more expensive sadly :(
