Cars Party

Cars Birthday Party

Over the weekend I helped a friend with her son’s birthday party! I am always willing to help friends out and hopefully, someday I will get good enough to have this earn my family some extra money!

This time it was a Cars themed birthday, love anything Disney so I was on board. It was also a great collaboration because she had digital software to make all the signs and I took it from there!

There were black and white walled tires (donuts).

Rust-eze water bottles.

I came up with these funnel serving dishes on the spot. They were a set of 3 sizes of funnels at the dollar store and I took the largest one and stood it on top of the smallest one that was upside down. It worked out great and was totally spur of the moment!

Cupcake picks.

Stoplight Jello snacks.

I was pretty proud of how these came out.

Speed bumps (pretzel rods).

Manhole covers (chocolate sandwich cookies}

There were also dipsticks (veggies in ranch) and a filling station (coffee).

The table was made to look like a  road too. I used just black table cloth from the dollar store and white duct tape to make tick marks all down the middle and then long pieces on either side (also helped hold the banner up).

I am really happy with the way it all came out!!

The favors were sweet too. She had a lot of these little plastic boxes and there were stickers in the bottom and cars for each guest.

There will be tutorial posts coming soon!!

    How creative! I just helped a dear friend do some DIY projects for her son’s first birthday party. It was a sesame street theme! So much fun to do! Thanks for visiting my blog earlier. I’m now following your blog :)
