Bathroom Makeover Part One!

Life has been NUTS lately and I barely made it through my class last month ( I got a B, but all the points I lost was not on the quality of the assignment but because a few were pretty late, not too bad but not great either). So I talked to my counselor at school and found I was able to take this month off (everyone deserves a summer break right?) and still graduate next summer (woohoo- she said I would probably already have my diploma when I walk which will be even better). In order to make the most of my time off of school, I am working on all the projects around the house I haven’t been able to do because of homework.

I started with the bathroom and it took a while to paint the little space because it seemed to be only trim and I had to work off and on between naps and when Avery was able to sit happily in one of her many contraptions (bouncer, walker, exer-saucer, she has quite the variety). But I did and I was even able to add the trim around the mirror that my dad cut for me when he did the shelves yesterday. It went up simply with liquid nails and some hot glue on the edges to hold it in place.

What do you think?

Now to work on the wall decor and shower curtain rod… will post more when it is done!

I love that green! Aren’t bathroom makeovers so rewarding? Are you going to make your own shower curtain? The accessory planning is the best part!

I need to frame out my mirror like that. How did you do that? Was it hard?
