Grandparents Day {Quick and Easy Gift}

Did you know that today was grandparents day?? 

I did because both of my parents, on two seperate occasions, called me to inform me of this holiday, which is funny because Avery is their first grandchild. On Wade's side, Avery is grandchild number 8 and I don't think that his parents have any idea.

But later this afternoon I am taking Avery and Scott out all over San Diego so that she can pass out her gifts to her grandparents. Now, I had pinnned a BUNCH of cute ideas for grandparents day (or even for the holidays) on pinterest HERE, but due to "dark Thursday" and some other things, I just didn't get to them, so this morning we made these: 

They are also great if you forgot and still want to get some brownie points for the holiday, Scott is going to mail something like this (minus handprints, we are going to decorate it some other way) and we are going to mail his tomorrow, it is the thought that counts right?! 

 Just google "grandparents day poem" and find one that you like and copy it into word and center it on the page. Print it out and add some handprints! I put the date and did hand over hand with Avery to write her name and we are done!!
