Deciding to start a blog was one of the best decisions I have ever made, because bloggers are my kind of people.
We make our own, knock off the expensive, get inspired by others and think of things in new ways. We always think twice before throwing things out.
That is what happened when Wade tried to throw away a drink carrier one night, I could play in the Superbowl with how fast I can intercept something from the trash... and since I have been at this for a while, he gives up pretty easily now. ;)
I thought this would be the perfect thing to make a simple color matching game for Avery, I chose color matching but really you could make it to match anything, numbers, letters, words, symbols- whatever. You could even use the same balls and write a number, letter or word on it and then a corresponding on on the drink carrier.

It is beyond simple, I chose some paint colors that matched the colors of balls that I had on hand and painted each cup (you could do the middle too).
The paint was still pretty wet in this picture.
Simple to make toys are the BEST!

Great idea! This made me laugh because my husband is always trying to throw away milk jugs, spaghetti jars, paper towel rolls, etc. and I am always saving them. Maybe I'll get him trained in after a while like you've done. :) Lorie @ http://readingconfetti.blogspot.com
love it. i have an egg carton saved to do something similar to this but with pom poms :)
This is such a cute creative idea! Easy and uses items we already have in the house (maybe!)
