1st Fall Project {Mod Podged Leaf Vases}

YAYAYYAYAYAYAYYAY It is almost FALL!!!!

Fall starts the best part of the year, it used to be from September to December that I enjoyed the most, but now with Avery's birthday in February, it runs from September to February.

I am soooo excited to start decorating for fall!!
I had to run to the dollar tree to grab some things for my classroom and then I saw these leaf doilies that I noticed from THIS post over at Mine for the Making and was so excited because I was drooling over them in Kara's post!

I put them to work with three vases that I also picked up when I was there and came up with this:

What do you think? Click "Read More" if you want to see how I made them!

This is a super simple, Mod Podge tutorial and that is all you need besides a brush to apply it with, I chose my favorite cheapo sponge brush.

First I added a good layer to the inside of the glass and then on top of the doily. Then I just attached the doily to the inside of the vase and did another coat on the top.

I repeated this until it was full, about 6 or so of the leaves.

If you wanted to fill this with flowers or water you could do this to the outside but I liked the look from the inside and I filled mine with some pumpkin spice potpourri that I also picked up while I was there. It fits quite nicely in the little alcove behind my sink in the kitchen!
