Have you ever checked out Kimbo over at A Girl and a Glue Gun?
If you haven't you need too. She is hilarious and crafty, my favorite combo in the blogesphere.
But anyways, forever ago she made these felt mats and I thought they were AWESOME. I had to make one but I think Avery was just in the drool, poop, eat stage so it just didn't make sense. But they came back in my mind when I was thinking of a good present I could make for a brother and sister birthday party we went to a couple of weekends ago. The kids are three years apart but their birthdays are only a week apart so mom saved some cash and doubled up the party (it was fun and she made some fab smores cupcakes).
I thought the felt mats would be perfect so here are my versions, but you can find the original tutorial from AGAAGG HERE.
I made a super girly one for the two year old.
And an outer space adventure for the five year old.

I folded them up and tied with a ribbon and they were ready to go!

These are super cool. What have you done with the edges and did you just use fabric glue?
What do you do with the edges? Do you just use fabric glue for the rest?
