You had to see this one coming right? After my cork boards last week I HAD to do 10 new uses Tuesday on .....
Wine corks!!
Really, you could probably do a million new uses for wine corks but these are the first ones that popped in my head.
1. Printmaking for kids with paint.
2. Trivet; slice the wine corks and hot glue them to either cork board or shelf liner.
3. Vase filler- put a bunch in a few different sized and shaped vases and you have a great accent for a table, shelf or mantle.

4. Plant markers; label with a sharpie and stick them in the soil right along side your plants.
5. Magnets- slice up your wine corks and hot glue a small magnet to the back,, quick and easy.
6. Coasters- hot glue either slices or whole corks next to each other and mount on cork roll or a small piece of wood with felt on the bottom side.
7. Pin cushion- either hot glue some together or just use a random one in a pinch.
8. Place cards- make a slice in the top with an x-acto knife and place the card right in, also I added a small piece to the bottom for stability.
9. Bulletin board- I have seen frames filled in with whole corks, or you can frame a some cork on a roll like I did in THIS post.
10. Silence cupboard doors- great if naps are one of the most important times of your day and you have another member of the family who constantly opens and closes cupboards all day...just sayin'. Anyways, you just attach a slice of the cork to the inside of the cupboard door to quiet the slamming!
What is your favorite use for wine corks?

LOVE wine corks!!! Ive always wanted to make a monogram using them :)
I make mouse pads out of the cork that comes on a roll. Simply place an existing mouse pad over it and cut out the shape, then adhere some pretty fabric to the top with your favorite iron-on adhesive. I found some cute dog and cat fabric and made some mouse pads for my vet's office and they loved them!
I LOVE the magnet idea, that is super cute! Creativity is your thing, I am always impressed!
SO excited to see your guest post this Friday, it's going to be awesome I am sure!
I love these 10 new uses. I just saw the one on bulletin board boarders. I'm a new follower.:) Thanks for thinking of this stuff.:)
