1) In a couple sentences, tell us a little about yourself.

 Well I can already tell this couple sentences business is going to be hard for a chatty patty like me, but I will do my best! :)

I am a stay at home mom of two BEAUTIFUL baby girls...

 I homeschooling my oldest daughter(5), while chasing around my youngest(2). My husband was my best friend before he was my LOVE. :) 

We have been married six years and I am more in love with him now than ever!!!

2) How did you get into blogging?

 I started out making/selling tutu's and jewelry. I opened an Etsy Shop recently. When I got that started, my friend, who runs Whimsy Lane blog, told me I should start a blog. So I started as a COMPLETE noob and created my blog Ali Grace Fashions & Trends I fell in LOVE!!! I never knew what fun this could be! Now that I've gotten the hang of things I've added my own Facebook and Twitter pages! "WOW look how techy mommy has gotten. :)" I thought to myself. Just a little bit proud that I was teaching myself html code and how to use social networking. When I started, I thought, um...no...that will never happen. :D

3)What is your blog about in a nutshell?

I LOVE the 3 F's! Family, Fashion and Food!!! And my blog is a combo of those three things! I like to write DIY's for adults and kids. Like how we painted my daughters room...

I LOVE to write about fashion, hair and makeup and do tutorials like this one.

and lastly I love to make EVERYTHING delicious from scratch like how to make homemade bread!

So in a nutshell, I write about 'fashions and trends'! Things that are popular at the moment, whether it's what people are wearing or what things they are cooking or creating!

4) What are your favorite materials/ingredients/tools to work with?

Well my favorite materials to work with are things that sparkle!!! Whether it is sparkle eye shadow for a summery look or rhinestones on a hair bow or tutu I am ALL about sparkle! I can't get enough! My newly found love for favorite ingredient would have to BASIL hands down! Fresh basil is TDF!

 

5)Where do you find your inspiration?

LIFE! There are so many creative people, beautiful things to see and wonderful things to taste! I find it hard not to be inspired by all that is around me! Whether it's color or flavor, life inspires me! Blogging moms also inspire me with their color and own unique personalities! Each one brings there own sparkle to the table and it's so much fun to see different styles take shape!

6)What are a couple of your favorite blogs?

Well for starters, this one! Thanks so much for everything! You have such a sweet spirit and that just flows through everything on your blog! :) I sure appreciate the kind feature! Other favorites of mine Whimsy Lane of course ;) Tatertots & Jello, Stilettos & Diaper Bags, Honey We're Home and ValSoCal are some of my favorite blogs!

7)What are a couple of your favorite projects?

I really enjoy making the tutu's for my friends and family as well as to sell. They are so much fun and are so gratifying to see take shape! These are some of my favorites!

I also find it loads of fun to play with beads and make jewelry!
