I am excited about this guest post!! I have been really interested in hair tutorials lately and was so glad to find her blog in these last couple of weeks!
Ali-Grace of Ali-grace.com is here to share a quick up do that looks AMAZING and gets all your hair up for these hot summer days!
On to the tutorial!!
~.~.~.~.~
All you need to achieve this great hair style are these things:
1) a hair wheel-these can be purchased at most beauty supply stores for 5-10 dollars.
2) 3 Long U shaped hair pins.
3) 4 Bobby pins that match your hair color.
4) A pony tail rubber band.
5) Hair Spray.
Start by pulling up hair on back of crown, this is where you will create volume:
Take hair brush and tease under hair 4-5 times.
After teasing hair, spray with a spritz of hair spray.
Let hair down and smooth around back of crown to allow for a domed look, keeping bangs and back of hair separate.
Placing thumbs at temples, pull hair up into a half pony tail.
Then holding half pony tail, push hair upward in back to create a poof.
Secure with bobby pins.I like to use four pins, one on each side and then using the other 2 to make an X over the first 2 pins. This creates very good stay power.
Pull the rest of hair into a pony tail and secure with band.
Braid pony tail, it does not have to be a perfect braid, just make sure most pieces stay in place.
Proceed to the wrap braid into a bun, holding in place while wrapping. Again, this does not have to be perfect, just try to make sure most hair is in place.
Secure with U pins at all angles. Starting by hooking the bun in a downward motion, then turn pin out and slide under bun. (in at all angles marked with arrows.)
Take hair wheel.
Place around bun.
Twist and wrap once more around bun. (like putting in a rubber band.)
Pull out pieces of hair wheel and brush lightly.
Arrange to your liking.
This is the finished product if you are going casual. If you want to dress it up a little, it is GREAT to add a flower to it!
There is also the option of having bangs down with this style. Simply pull down desired amount of bangs.
Tease and spray under bangs.
Separate bangs gently
Then gently push to the side. You can spray the edges of bangs if desired to keep in place.
Add some fringe earrings to finish off this great and easy look!
Thanks for reading!!

that looks beautiful, and a beautiful model too! I am always looking for inspiration for my hair, it gets shoved up in a pony tail too often.
Great tutorial. Alas . . . I recently cut off 10 inches of my hair.
