10 New Uses Tuesday {Plastic Bottles}

Today, we are going to talk about, plastic bottles- I can't believe I haven't done this one yet!! I am even going to do two posts, so stay tuned for that!

1. Bracelets; cut sections and cover with fabric, ribbon, twine and more!

2. Planters; cut sections and poke holes in the bottom and you can have an instant container garden.

3. Bowling set; fill with sand from the back yard or colored sand from the craft store to make a quick bowling set.

4. Eye spy bottle; fill with rice or sand and add all kinds of little toys and bobbles to create a great quiet toy.

5. Store frozen veggies; we all know those bags are a pain in the bum (can't even tell you how many I have grabbed from the wrong end and spilled everywhere!) after you open them up so just pour the corn or peas in the bottle to make an easy to store and seal solution.

6. Flowers; paint the inside of the bottles then cut open to make great indoor/outdoor flowers.

7. Watering can for kids; fill up with water and put a couple of holes in the lid and let them go to town.

8. Party favors; layer colored candies in clean and dry bottles, then add labels for a fun gift for any get together.

9. Sensory bottles; fill with colored water and small toys for a wonderful sensory experience.

10. Bubble blowers for kids; cut the base off and use the opening where you drink from to blow through to make bubble blowing easier for young children.

What is your favorite use for plastic bottles?

More ideas from Pinterest coming up tonight!!!

I also love the frozen vegetable idea! I saw on teach preschool to cut the bottom off, and thread a skein of yarn through the drinking part to help kids get yarn without tangling it.
