10 New Uses Tuesday {Dryer Sheets}

Good evening!!! I am so glad you all stopped by for another 10 New Uses Tuesday!!

Tonight.... Dryer sheets!!!

I know what you are thinking..."really?!"

But there are some great ideas!!

Let's get started!

1. Use to dust your electronics, such as computer and TV screens.

2. Clean your iron; set to low and then wipe away the gunk!
3. Trash can refreshers; just place at the bottom, underneath the bag to freshen and keep the stink away.

Click "Read More" to find out the rest of the uses!

4. Add texture to painted crafts and surfaces; paint as you normally would and then press with the dryer sheet for texture and dimension.

5. Bug repellant; keep near you or rub on your skin when you are at a picnic or camping to keep pests away!

6. Dog deodorizer; I do this one all the time! Between baths and before guest come over, you give them a quick once over with the dryer sheet.

7. Fight cat litter smell, add into the filter or adhere to the inside to offer a fresh boost.

8. Freshen shoes and clothing; tuck them into your shoes and drawers to keep things smelling fresh!

9. Room refresher; throw a dryer sheet into your vacuum's basin or bag and vacuum as normal, but with a fresh scent following you!

10. Make cleaning pots and pans 10 times easier, just soak with warm water, a squirt of soap and a dryer sheet and you won't believe how easy it is to clean them up after a few minutes!

What is your new use for dryer sheets!

Some of these were definitely new for me! One of my favorites is to keep one around you in the winter if you are prone to fly-away hair - rub it over your head to keep the strands down (plus you smell good, lol)

Being a seasonal camper we use Bounce (and it has to be Bounce) dryer sheets all over the camper inside to keep mice away throughout the nonseasonal months. It is very effective.

I keep one in my purse so if my hair gets crazy static I can rub one over my hair and no more static!

I keep a dryer sheet in a ziploc bag in my desk drawer at work. When I'm wearing something that has a little static cling, I just rub the dryer sheet on whatever is static-y and no more static cling!
