Seven on Saturday with ME!!

I thought I should get in on the action and there was a space open this week so I thought I would take advantage of it!

1. In a couple of sentences, tell us about yourself.

You know the story, I am a wife, mommy and caregiver. My husband and I have been married for two years but in October we will have been together for 8 (wow). I have a 16 month old princess and we are caregivers to an awesome young gentlemen named Scott with Fragile X. I love my life and wouldn't change anything...except maybe adding some more babies in the mix :).

2. How did you get into blogging?

I heard about it through a mom of triplets in one of my preschool classes and she mentioned how it was great for journaling so I gave it a shot. I was off in my own little world for a while until my eyes were opened to all the wonderful crafty, kid related and decorating blogs out there. Jaw droppingly amazing. I had to get involved.

3. What is your blog about in a nutshell?

I really strive to have a mom blog; I want to create a space that gives tips for everyday life, creative projects, tutorials and ideas as well as some engaging activities and projects for the littles in our lives. I really hope to add in more recipes in the future, if not only to inspire me to take my creativity to the kitchen.

4. What are your favorite materials/ ingredients/ tools to work with?

Is 'cheap ones' a good answer? LOL I am a fan of all things fabric, paper, hot glue, Mod Podge, ribbon, canvas, paint, recycled materials... and really whatever random thing someone wants to challenge me with.

5. Where do you find your inspiration?

ALL OVER. I have one of those minds that just deconstructs everything around me, so when I see something, I automatically think of how it was made and how I could make it myself. This can happen while window shopping, looking through catalogs and online sources and other blogs. Also, we all know that pinterest is a great place for inspiration these days as well!

6. What are a couple of your favorite blogs?

A couple... that is tough (can't believe I ask people to answer this question lol!)
