Scrap Fabric Balls

I had mentioned that I would provide a tutorial for the scrap fabric balls that I mentioned in this post on 10 new uses for fabric scraps, so here it is!

This is beyond simple, I am sure I am not the first and most of you probably figured it all out without this tutorial but I am going to follow through anyways.

=)

Click "Read More" for the tutorial!

Materials:

  • Fabric Scraps
  • Styrofoam or plastic balls (you know, like from your kids ball pit- they will never know they are gone)
  • Hot glue
  • Scissors

First, if you scraps aren't cut up into small pieces, cut them into smaller, quarter sized pieces. They don't have to be uniform at all.

Then you are just going to go around the ball and hot glue them as you go, all the way around.

Done!

Then you make a bunch, this isn't all of mine but it was a good start!

So cute! I wouldn't have thought of that!

I felt the same way about posting a "tutorial" for my Pinwheel-Topped Cupcakes. =)
