Yay for the Fourth of July!!!
Last year, I was so excited to see the fireworks over some trees by my house. Thrilled even.
This year I look forward to being home with the family and having a small celebration here, but that still doesn't mean I can't rock some red, white and blue on my wrist for the week!
Remember all those yo yo's I have? Well I grabbed 5 that were red, white and blue, some ribboon and my hot glue gun and made this:
Click "Read More" to see how I did it!
First I got an order that I liked (sorry for the early morning pics).
Then lay them out on the ribbon and find the middle.
When gluing them on, I added the glue on the ribbon and placed the yo yo on top, I made sure to leave the ends open so there was room to put the next yo yo underneath it so they are slightly layered.
Here is the back view when they are all glued on.
It really is that easy, all I did after that was seal the ends of the ribbon.
Ready for fireworks...or the grocery store, whichever ;).
*Note, you might need to overlap slightly more or play with the size or number of yo yo's depending on the size of your wrist.
