Yo Yo Bib Necklace {Tutorial}

These are so much fun!! Yo yos are one of those perfect TV projects because you can make a bunch of them in not a lot of time without too much effort or attention.

I thought I had already done a tutorial on yo yo's but I guess I was wrong. So if you would like me to, let me know in the comments and I can put one together for you.

But here is the tutorial for the bib necklace... aren't they fancy?!

Click "Read More" to see how I made them!

Materials:

  • 7 yo yos in coordinating colors
  • Buttons in matching colors
  • Felt
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • Silver chain
  • Scissors

First get out your ridiculously large collection of yo yos.

While you have them all out, play  around with colors and arrangements until you find something you like.

Then, start gluing them onto a piece of felt, I started with the bottom center yo yo and moved outwards.

Then, cut it out before you add all the buttons and embellishments.

To add the chain, you glue each end to either side. Then glue another, smaller, piece of felt onto the back, over top of the chain.

Then I chose to glue the whole thing onto a second piece of felt and trimmed it up again.

What do you think??

If you just can't resist them you could go on over HERE and buy them ;).
