Mother's Day Gifts

I am on the handmade gift kick lately, as I am sure I have mentioned, and Mother's day is no exception.

I am of the belief that Mother's day should be one of the main handmade holidays, would much rather home made handprints than jewlery.

I guess my husband is lucky like that ;).

But anyways, Wade and I are a little old to be giving our moms hand print flowers or hearts, so I had to get crafting!

I made my Mother In Law a cute 3 rosette purple necklace that I did not get a picture of- note to self, get and post a picture!

But moving on, I asked my Mom and Sister In Law what they would like and they said they would get more use out of pins than necklaces.. so pins they will get!

My mom wanted a blue one and a pink one:

And my Sister In Law wanted a blue, yellow and green one:

And here they are all together with another one I made to sell in my Mom's shop:

I also made a few single rosette pins to put up in my Mom's shop:

And one that in the end, I thought looked like a flower!

What did  you do for Mother's Day?

I love your rosettes! They are the perfect touch for so many different projects.
