Tomorrow I graduate.
Woohoo!!!
With a BA in Early Childhood Education (Child Development)!
And I lucked out because Wade graduated last year so not only do I know what to expect, but all I had to buy this year was a tassel. I am using everything else from his cap and gown and what not last year. (You know I like saving money.)
That doesn't mean I can't change it!
I remember last year it was IMPOSIBLE to find Wade in a sea of people that were dressed just like him. It was just a bunch of hats. And if it wasn't for texting, I would have had no idea when it was his turn to walk and I might have missed it.
But there was one person I could see. I didn't know her, but I was able to watch her wherever she was as her cap bobbed around the crowd of graduates.
Why?
Because she had covered the entire thing in puff paint.
I don't know if it was words or a design or what but it made her VERY easy to find and you knew exactly when it was her turn.
Now, the bright puff paint was a little tacky not my style (unless a child did it then it was fun, yes there is a double standard here and yes I am ok with that), but I still wanted to do something to help out my family to keep track of my whereabouts.
A glitter GPS if you will.
Yeah, I said that.
Come on, you can't really be surprised that I glittered yet another random item. BUT, I did it in black so as to not be too tacky.
This way you can find me, but it is not as distracting as the puff paint situation of last year.
It was super easy...cap:

Done.
Be back tomorrow with pictures!

Glitter GPS LOL! Congrats to you friend!! I decorated my cap in high school but not in college...should have!
Congratulations! Enjoy your day!
When I graduated, I had all the kids from the classes I student taught sign my hat in glitter pen. I loved it. And since they were a part of that journey with me, it was sort of symbolic.
Great idea! Congratulations!
Thats what I did! haha. great minds think alike
CONGRATULATIONS!!! :) And may glitter guide you in all that you do! lol!
I need to get on planning my own graduation party!
