I feel like I am on a roll when it comes to decorating the house, I am not spending a lot of money at all but things are slowly starting to get completed.
Today I added a Vinyl Sunburst Mirror to Scott's living room near the mantle and I am loving the way it looks!
Click "Read More" to find out how I did it!
So simple, all you need is vinyl in whatever color you want, a 6 inch mirror (I got mine at the craft store for $1.50) and some adhesive for the mirror to stick to the wall. This is a great craft because you can use scrap vinyl and you can do it without a Cricut so anyone can make this one without a fancy machine.
First I used my paper cutter to cut 1/2 inch strips off of the 24 inch long sheet of black vinyl I had on hand.
Then I made a plus sign on the wall with the first two pieces.
Then I added two more in an "x" shape.
Then I added the last four in between the first four.
Last I got out the mirror and the adhesive.
And added it to the center of the sun burst.
Done!
Quick and easy and looks great over the book shelf!
